Topics For Essay Writing - Discover the Perfect Topic For Your EssayIn this seventh installment of the Essay Writing 101 series, I am going to discuss topics for essay writing. If you have read the prior installments, you should know what topics to write about and how to write about them. For those who have not read this series before, you may want to do a quick review. The first of the series was about what topic to write about in essay writing. The second topic was about how to begin writing an essay. The third topic was about how to end it. The fourth topic covered the methods to outline the essay. And the fifth topic was about how to come up with compelling ideas and concepts. In this installment, I will concentrate on topics for essay writing.Different people approach writing essays for different reasons. Some want to share their knowledge with others, others want to present their ideas with great clarity, while still others just want to write for the joy of it. All of these moti ves are valid and all are important, but it is not always the case that the best idea will come to mind. It sometimes helps to discuss your topic and find out where the ideas are.If you decide to write your own topic, then you should write a very thorough outline of what you want to say. Start at the beginning. What is the topic? How much information should you include? What are your plans for the end of the essay?Ask yourself these questions and so on. By doing this, you will be able to make sure that your topic is as complete as possible. Try to write a rough draft of the essay before you actually sit down to write it. It can help if you read a few chapters from an essay that has already been written before you. That way, you can get an idea of how the author plans to proceed and how he or she presents his or her ideas. Sometimes the first draft is even worse than the second, because the author can't seem to catch his or her breath! As you work on your draft, ask yourself if the ma terial you are using to write your paper is relevant to the subject matter of your topic. If it is not, make a note of it. You don't want to end up repeating yourself, so try to come up with a fresh angle on the same topics you are using. Finally, make sure that the topic you are using matches the type of essay you want to write. Since most writers write several different topics, it is always wise to base your topic on one you already know. In other words, if you are writing about health, you can choose a topic that is based on health. Finally, remember that all writers write about something different, and the truth is that they do it for a variety of reasons, whether it be for fun, to pen a writer's journal, or for money. Whether you're writing for enjoyment or profit, the topics for essay writing will continue to be different as time goes by.
